ATHOS - Rewinding with heart and soul for 20 years!

The ATHOS sites in Turkey and China were founded in 2004. Reason enough for the company management to celebrate exactly 20 years later with their Turkish friends and colleagues in Turkey and invited guests from all other ATHOS locations (Germany, China and Slovenia).

The management of ATHOS Turkey had taken over the perfect organization and it was a splendid celebration:

Thursday saw the arrival of all employees. For many, it was a first personal meeting with colleagues who are usually only known by phone, email or possibly teams.

After check-in and a warm welcome in the foyer, the evening was spent in the exquisite fish restaurant "Olta" enjoying the finest Turkish specialties.

It was already clear to everyone that the reception and the first evening were real highlights.

On Friday morning, all participants went to the company site. A short briefing on the day's schedule and gifts awaited them here before they - equipped with a uniform T-shirt and cap - went on a tour of the halls and production facilities.

Business" was the order of the day in the afternoon: the managers of the individual locations discussed and reported on the business developments of recent years and, in some cases, presented current and future projects that are pending or being implemented in the respective stores and markets "live and hands-on".

Saturday was finally dedicated to sightseeing in Istanbul during the day.

And there was also a party ...

The short breather at the hotel in the late afternoon was then used to prepare for the next highlight of the day: the actual 20th anniversary celebration on a ship rented especially for ATHOS.

Almost 100 people (all employees of the Turkish site and the foreign guests) enjoyed live music and a Turkish specialty menu and celebrated and danced the night away. An emotional video by, with and about the Turkish colleagues and the company, as well as the honoring of long-standing employees were further central elements and unforgettable moments of the festivities.

After breakfast on Sunday morning, some colleagues headed straight home to the airport, while others spent a few more hours enjoying the glorious weather in Istanbul and booked their flight later.

A wonderful time with many new impressions and nice, personal contacts with colleagues came to an end, but many will remember it for a long time to come.
