ATHOS also supplies the next generation of GARDENA garden hose rewinders

Quality pays off, leading to consistent cooperation.

Gardena’s hose boxes have been redesigned for the 2021 gardening season.

Once again, the manufacturer of high-quality gardening tools is relying on the almost traditional cooperation with ATHOS, which was once again entrusted with production of the rewinder systems for the hose lengths of 25, 30, and 35 metres and thus confirmed as a supplier. Increasing production volumes in the last few years therefore also required an increase in the machine park for the new generation.

ATHOS installed 2 new semi-automated production lines and expanded the injection moulding capacity with new injection moulding machines to meet the increasing demand for the manufacturing plant in Slovenia. These investments now make it possible to manufacture the large-volume parts such as the housing halves of the hose boxes in our own factory.

Additional storage space will also be created for the Slovenian location through the construction of a further new hall.

Production started in October 2020 already. The new hose rewinder generation will be available in time for the start of the gardening season.
